This programme received the Merit Award in the Supply Chain Category at the Singapore Healthcare Management Congress 2015.

The Shared Procurement Programme (SPP) was piloted in 2010 by AIC in collaboration with SingHealth Group Procurement Office (GPO), which is now known as ALPS

A shared procurement group comprising of Social Service Agencies-run Community Care partners such as nursing homes, community hospitals and hospices was formed. 

Following the successful pilot, the programme was formalised in July 2012. 

The SPP is currently in its third term effective from April 2019, with more than 50 Community Care partners on board.
