With COVID-19 being termed a global pandemic that might extend beyond a year, and in light of safe distancing measures implemented worldwide to curb the spread of the virus, we have made the extremely difficult decision to not hold the Community Care Conference in 2020.

All attendees will be notified via email. For enquiries, please contact

Aligned with the national thrusts of moving beyond hospital to community, and beyond healthcare to health, the Community Care sector has become a vital component of Singapore’s health system. These shifts require “out of the box” thinking and an interdisciplinary approach to the concepts of elderhood and Community Care. As the focus is less on managing diseases but more on maintaining physical, mental, and social health, practitioners and policymakers must now integrate geriatrics with gerontological insights when planning services and interventions. This new paradigm is being presented for the first time in this forthcoming Community Care Conference (CCC2020).

The scientific programme has been carefully curated to elicit fresh views and critique from international thought leaders and practitioners on Singapore’s efforts in helping our seniors prepare for their third and fourth ages through community engagement, infrastructure planning, and refinement of care models. We hope that the conversations at this conference would help seed ideas and inspire innovations within the health and social ecosystems.
